In order for you to experience the true hunt, we make an effort to expose you to the surrounding areas including meeting and interacting with the local people in the different hunting areas.
The currency in South Africa is the Rand, although all transactions are done in U.S. $. U.S. Driver’s licenses are accepted provided they are in English and show a photo on the license.
Both the Eastern and Northern Cape are malaria free but Zimbabwe is considered a malaria area. Please contact your doctor or e-mail us for further information. No additional inoculations or treatments are required by South African countries.
Cell phones signal is intermittent in the more remote sections of the hunting areas and camps, however wifi is available at the camps. South African sim cards are readily available, alternatively you can purchase an international roaming package from your service provider..
Pre- or post- Safari tours can be arranged. We welcome family groups. Day trips to the new Mokala National Park which is situated a stone’s throw away from the lodge is a must. Tours to Cape Town, Garden Route, Kruger National Park, Addo Elephant Park, etc. are arranged and customized to your needs. We are linked to a small dynamic tour company called African Sunscapes who will gladly assist you with all the necessary arrangements. Kimberley is the diamond capitol of the world and offers special deals to its visitors. The surrounding area is steeped in history and battle sites, many of which are right in the hunting areas. Every effort is taken to visit these sites although hunting time is still deemed a priority.
